Our Story
Sanavay = the ‘healthy’ way

Hi, I’m Tia.
For as long as I can remember, I watched my mum, Maria, struggle with inherited menorrhagia - heavy periods that lasted more than a week. Traditional sanitary products were uncomfortable, expensive, and often failed to provide the support she needed. Medications offered short-term relief, but the side effects were overwhelming.
One day, during a conversation between my mum, myself, and a few friends, we shared our frustration with conventional products. That moment sparked the idea for Sanavay.
Determined to find better solutions, my mum discovered menstrual cups and period pants - products that were not only effective but also reusable, comfortable, and eco-friendly. Mum's mission was simple: to make sure I, and others like me, never had to go through the same challenges she faced. Together, we’ve built Sanavay to spread awareness and empower people with menstrual cycles to choose products that truly support their well-being, while also being kinder to the planet.
At Sanavay, we believe periods shouldn’t be a source of unnecessary discomfort or financial burden.
Our goal is to provide sustainable solutions that transform the way people experience their cycles - because better periods mean better lives.

Our Mission
And this is just the beginning
At Sanavay, we have done the hard work of selecting the best sustainable menstrual brands, so you don't have to!
We are proud to partner with brands that prioritize customer safety and use natural, breathable materials that are gentle on the skin and the environment.
Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond promoting healthy living to include a deep respect for the environment, free from chemicals and toxins. We believe that by promoting and supporting responsible brands, we can help create a brighter future for everyone.

Our Promise
It’s very simple - to help put an end to period poverty. Period.
Sanavay prioritises the health and well-being of those in need by supporting as many charitable organisations as we possibly can.
In 2024, we donated 1% of customer sales to Bloody Good Period. In 2025, we donated 2% of customer sales to Freedom4Girls.
In 2026, we will donate 3% of sales to The Pachamama Project.
The Pachamama Project is a "a UK-registered charity growing a network of volunteers around the world to make reusable period pads for refugees and vulnerable people who experience period poverty".
By donating period products, our time, or money, we can support those most in need and make a positive impact on their lives.
