Helping young people understand their changing bodies with confidence.
Education designed for schools
Our workshops are designed to complement schools' existing Health Education, RSHE and PSHE programmes.
Sessions can be adapted to suit the age, needs and existing curriculum of your pupils and school.

Menstrual Health & Puberty Education
At Sanavay, we believe that every child should have the knowledge and confidence to understand puberty, menstruation and the changes that happen as they grow.
Our educational workshops provide positive, age-appropriate and engaging menstrual health education for schools, helping pupils understand what to expect, ask questions without embarrassment and develop healthy, respectful attitudes towards menstruation.

Why menstrual health education matters
Puberty is a time of significant physical and emotional change. For some children, these changes can feel exciting, while for others they may feel confusing, embarrassing or worrying. Having a clear understanding of what is happening to their bodies can help children feel more prepared, informed and confident as they grow.
Our workshops provide a safe, supportive and respectful environment where pupils can learn about puberty and growing up, the physical and emotional changes they may experience, periods and the menstrual cycle, different period products and how to manage their periods with confidence. Pupils also learn what to do if their period starts unexpectedly, where to go for help and support, how to ask questions without embarrassment, and the importance of respecting that everyone's experience of puberty and menstruation is different. We also encourage pupils to develop a positive and informed approach to period care and understand that there are different choices available to them.
Primary school workshops | Years 5–6
Understanding Your Changing Body: Menstrual Health & Smart Choices
Our primary school programme has been designed to give pupils the knowledge they need before, or as, they begin experiencing puberty and menstruation.
Secondary School Menstrual Health Programme
We are currently developing our secondary school programme, with workshops designed to build on pupils' existing knowledge and explore menstrual health, wellbeing, period management, product choices, menstrual stigma and knowing when to seek support.
Join our school mailing list to hear when our secondary programme launches.

Age-Appropriate & Positive
We use clear, simple and carefully considered language suited to each age group, presenting puberty and periods as a normal part of growing up and helping to reduce embarrassment and stigma.

Interactive & Engaging
Pupils are encouraged to take part through discussion, activities, questions, quizzes and myth-busting, making learning enjoyable and memorable.

Inclusive & Respectful
We recognise that every pupil's experience of puberty and menstruation is different. Our workshops encourage understanding, empathy and respectful conversations that consider different backgrounds, needs and circumstances.

Practical & Evidence-Informed
Pupils gain practical, reliable information about periods, period care and managing menstruation in everyday situations, including at school. Our content is developed with reference to current educational and health guidance and reputable sources.
